West Babylon, NY – PRI has integrated 10 new ADA cameras in and around the new elevators at the 181st Street Station as part of the New York City Transit’s (NYCT) 6 Elevator Replacement at 181st and 190th Street Station project. The company has also begun working on items for 190th Street Station, having fabricated the new equipment to be integrated later in 2021.

In addition to the new ADA cameras at 181st, PRI has integrated the new equipment into the existing Fiber Optic Network, supplied a brand-new CCTV, and supplied other equipment to aid elevator functionality.

PRI’s scope for this project includes supplying new CCTV cameras, network equipment, and CCTV cabinets at both 181st and 190th Street Stations (A Line) to help make both stations ADA compliant. The new equipment will help increase security at both stations as well as help travelers get where they need to be in a safe, ADA-compliant manner in the Upper West Side (UWS) by Fort Tyron Park and the Cloisters.
