PRI’s PM Department Expands
West Babylon, NY – Power Resources International continues to grow with the addition of three new project management professionals. At the start of the new year, PRI welcomed Jerry McClendon – Senior Project Manager, Richard Rothwell – Project Manager, and Tiffany James – Project Manager, to the team. Each brings a wealth of knowledge and years of experience to their respective roles.

Jerry McClendon, Senior Project Manager
McClendon has over 15 years of project management experience. He previously worked for Speedcast as Director of Programs for managed services, network implementations, and infrastructure builds. McClendon was responsible for leading several major accounts including NBC, Showtime, QVC, and Eutelsat as well as satellite terminals and networks in Afghanistan, Australia, Europe, and Peru.
McClendon is PRI’s Senior Project Manager and is responsible for overseeing the Project Management department as well as managing several NYCT projects.
McClendon is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has a Master of Science and Bachelor of Arts from New York University. He is also a U.S. Army veteran.
Richard J Rothwell, Project Manager
Rothwell has over 40 years of diverse engineering and project management experience. He previously worked for the Long Island Rail Road as Director of Program Management for Track, Signal, Communication, Structures, and Security Projects, and has been responsible for over a billion dollars worth of projects. Rothwell has managed many major intermodal projects, such as the JFK LIRR AITRAIN project, West Side Yard Overbuilds, Divide Signal Supervisory System, and many Radio Communication Improvement Projects.
At PRI, Rothwell is presently responsible for project management of the Design Build MTA/LIRR Motor Generator Project for Babylon and Hillside, of which the company is the prime contractor.
Rothwell has an MBA in Management and Finance from Adelphi University including graduate studies in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York. He has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Technology from New York Institute of Technology.
Tiffany James, Project Manager
James has over five years of project management experience. She most recently worked for Park East Construction as an Assistant Project Manager, where she was responsible for managing projects from conception through completion while ensuring safety, quality, and budget goals were met.
As a Project Manager at PRI, James is responsible for managing and assisting several LIRR and NYCT projects including the Design Build MTA/LIRR Motor Generator Project for Babylon and Hillside as well as NYCT QBL East CBTC.
James has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Hofstra University.
