Joe Diurno, P.E.

President

Joe, co-founder of PRI, is responsible for leading the organization and managing the image of PRI. He is also involved in pricing and bidding for projects and servicing our customers. External experience includes over 35 years of expertise in automation, instrumentation, controls, project management, project development and engineering. Joe has an MBA from New York Institute of Technology as well as a degree in Engineering from SUNY Maritime College. Additional accomplishments include a Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in the State of New York and a United States Coast Guard 3rd Assistant Engineer license.

Joe Morelli

Chief Operating Officer

Joe has been a member of the PRI team for over 10 years. As COO, he is accountable for all aspects of PRI’s day-to-day business. Joe oversees the operations of the firm and manages everyday functions such as budgeting, planning, marketing, and managing staff. His current focus is on creating strategies that increase efficiency and profit for the company. Joe is also responsible for managing the Project Management Team at PRI and acts as the primary liaison to contractors on assigned projects. Joe earned his BS in Business Administration from CW Post.

Ellen Morelli

Chief Financial Officer, Finance & Administration

Ellen has 15 years of experience and is responsible for all of PRI’s financials which include accounts payable/receivable, firm payroll, corporate taxes, auditing PRI’s books and preparing financial statements. She is relied upon to improve business efficiency and make best-practices recommendations to management regarding ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits. She is also responsible for maintaining D/MBE certifications. Ellen earned her accounting certification from SUNY Farmingdale.

Amanda Diurno

Executive Vice President

Amanda has over 15 years of experience working within numerous departments of PRI, notably Purchasing and Procurement as well as Inside Sales. She specializes in developing customer and client relationships, placing orders, handling key customer accounts, and working with vendors to negotiate pricing for all of PRI’s customers. Over the years, Amanda has developed many relationships with PRI’s vendors, including Siemens and Phoenix Contact. Amanda earned her BA in Communications at SUNY Oswego.

Eric Camilleri

Director, Quality Assurance

Eric has over 30 years’ experience in quality, manufacturing, employee development, process development, document control, supplier management and customer support. He is responsible for PRI’s Quality Assurance Program and Quality Management System. Eric’s responsibilities include ensuring PRI’s continued compliance to ISO 9001-2015, developing Quality Plans/Procedures, product quality, inspection and test, document control, quality reviews and audits, and overseeing PRI’s in-house Safety Program. Eric studied Electrical Engineering Technology at SUNY Farmingdale.

Karen Gaffney

Director, Human Resources

Karen has over 25 years of experience in recruitment and selection, talent and performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. Some of her ongoing initiatives include succession planning, administering the employee handbook, managing personal time off/vacation policies, and providing coaching and guidance to management and employees. Prior to coming to PRI, Karen worked in Human Resources for Bear Stearns and Citibank. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at SUNY Buffalo.
